There’s a New Sheriff in Town
Monday, February 4th, 2008Well when the clock hit 00:00 on the Packers season and the world knew that the Patriots would face the Giants in the “big game” I had a thought. I was suspicious about the Patriots and spy gate yet I wanted to see them go undefeated because it seemingly something that occurs once in a lifetime. Yet I also thought it would be funny to see them go that far and lose. Moreover, as I heard most of the reporters and callers on the local sports talk radio station talk about the game as if we should just give the Patriots the trophy, I said I hope the Giants beat them in a close game.
I wish I bet on the game because the outcome was exactly what I wanted. Thanks to something called will the Giants, on the back of their game winning MVP quarterback Eli Manning, gave the Patriots a taste of their own medicine and came back to win THE most important game of the football season. Congratulations to the New York Giants.
