Something new in nature, for me at least.
I was doing my usual Saturday yard work at my parents house, up rooting some bushes and cutting down some trees, and I saw a frog. This was not your regular looking frog that you would think you would see in your backyard, this frog was silver. I know there are frogs that are both red and blue and other wild colors but you usually see those in books.
I wish I had my digital camera with me but I had to defer to the camera on my blackberry.
I know what he better be glad it was not nighttime or that owl would have got him!

Freaking frogs. I've "almost" stepped on too many of then over the past year. Had to keep my dogs from eating one that refused to scurry in their presence. And had a coworker accidentally decapitate one doing yard work.
I'm not going to call them evil, but weird, creepy... they are. Silver I could deal with. But let one of those bright blue or red things show up in my yard. I'm getting the shotgun. I don't take chances. lol

Frogs are weird I almost killed that one because he would not jump away. I was kicking and stomping at him and he would not move. Frogs definitely are weirdos!
