My Cowboys lose in playoffs, AGAIN!!! #@%!

I got up this morning, put on my Cowboys shirt and said self be ready for the crap, because last night it hit the fan and will be falling until we win a playoff game. Tony Romo goes to Mexico and the Cowboys lose 21-7 to the Giants. So everybody wants to put that loss on the shoulders of Romo to say that he should have been preparing for the game. Well all I have to say is there is plenty of blame to go around and I’m serving it up.

Let me get Romo out the way first. Three times he could not find an open receiver, two of those times he escaped the pocket and failed to throw the ball away and took a sack. The other time he stayed in the pocket and threw it away which lead to a penalty. Also, for the first time, Romo appeared very frustrated when the Giants started getting to him more in the second half.

Next up, the Offensive line, yes the Giants threw the sink at Romo in the second half but wow were we poor on picking up the blitz. I really do not see how we had three false start penalties, Mark Colombo and Flozell Adams(who by the way leads the league in false starts), and we are at home. What you thinking so hard you thought you heard the snap. Andre Gurode it’s the playoffs and now you don’t know how to snap the ball.

Patrick Crayton got married this year during the bye week (8). So following the thought process of people who say Romo played bad because of Jessica, did Crayon drop to critical passes because the marriage bug hit him eleven weeks late? No he dropped the ball because he of poor concentration on his part. After two big drops, he goes up and makes a very difficult catch. Hey we need you to make the big ones.

Finally Jason Garrett, hopefully this helps keep him in the D. Why was Jason Witten blocking during the last drive, may have been for only a few plays, but he was our playmaker and we needed him running a route, no in blocking.

So unlike those people who call themselves Cowboys fans and give excuses to why we lost I just gave you facts. We had our chance and blew it. Yes beating a team three times in one season is difficult, but we had opportunities and didn’t take advantage of them.

Moves I hope the Cowboys make in what is now our offseason since WE LOST YESTERDAY:

  1. Cut Roy Williams. I didn’t mention him above because, I chose to mention problems that could be corrected. He takes poor angles and can’t tackle. Bye-Bye captain horse-collar.
  2. Give Marion Barber a tub full of money and give him the starting job.
  3. Keep Jason Garrett
  4. Comb the draft for a safety to replace captain horse-collar and let’s get another QB to put some more pressure on Romo. Never was sold on him from the mere fact that at the time he lost a playoff game. Now he has lost two. Either he responds and elevates to the next level or he folds. He said it best if he plays bad then nobody is to blame but himself.

MY PRESENT STATE: VERY SALTY!!!

GO COWBOYS!
