Snow brings the lazes.

Snow fell again across the land and this time while shoveling I began to think and raised a question to myself. When the snow falls what can we learn about others and ourselves?

Well first thing that comes to the average school-age child’s mind is, man please let it snow enough to cancel school. Now the thinking school-age child says, let is snow enough to cancel school but not enough so that mom/dad have to go to work. Just a reminder, using up all those snow days extends the school year.

Now on to the adults, some example we set. Some of us hope that an unscheduled leave policy goes into effect so that they can use vacation, yes use vacation to take the day off. However, the best excuse ever is: they haven’t plowed my street. The probably won’t, because its like two inches of snow on the ground.

All this snow has to be removed, yet women should have to shovel only if their man has a crippling condition or if she does not have a man or made her man mad. Ok, last one was a joke. If you can make it to your parents, meaning they are in the same zip code, go shovel for them.

Your single mom only cares for you so, why would she expect you to get off your lazy john brown hind-parts and shovel the snow for her? No, I didn’t forget about you Mr. I need to borrow you shovel. Every winter there is a chance that it might snow. Stop buying booze/cancer sticks/hippie lettuce for a day and get a shovel.

Three approaches to shoveling the snow:

  1. Shovel every x number of inches. You’re out side more but not moving as much snow at one time
  2. Shovel once it stops snowing. Couple of years ago, I broke from the above and tried this method. Well that year about a good two feet fell. Dang!
  3. Don’t shovel at all. Thus making you an inconsiderate whoreson1.

I learned that I don’t like Mr. I need to borrow you shovel, or the thoughtless twits who don’t shovel for their woman or parents. However they were the inspiration for this post, giving me something to post here. That’s weird!
