Valentines Day
I mean, we are two months removed from “Every Gift begins with Kay” and now we are well into “He went to Shaws.” Buy, Buy, Buy.
I mean why do I have to buy a Lexus or Diamonds to show “how much I care, EVERY YEAR!” Go into debt so after a while you can’t show her how much you care. You end up showing her how much of a dullard you are when your bank account is in the red.
I got it… red is for debt and the more red the more love, so more debt more love. That’s what all the commercials are screaming to me.

I Think we should stop celebrating made up holidays. Why is this day a better day than others to show someone that you love them?

some men/women happen to like Valentine’s Day. If men/women would show how much they cared all the time then maybe it wouldnt be such a big deal to women to have this day to want to know how men/women feel.
granted women/men hope and sometimes expect too much on valentine’s day and end up with a broken heart when they dont get what they have been wanting.
if they wait long enough they will probably end up getting what they want for themselves.
then you are faced with someone wanting something and not getting it and then someone else using the same excuse of why they couldnt get you things that you have wanted for a lifetime.
either way noone is happy.
